The Balcony of the Axarquía

Have fun exploring Comares.

Comares, a natural vantage point situated at an altitude of 703 meters, is a picturesque village in the Axarquía region of Málaga. Comares is also known as “The Balcony of the Axarquía” for its incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountain range and villages. A stroll through Comares is a journey into its history, with narrow, labyrinthine streets that remind you of its Arab heritage, which is palpable in every corner.
